Etérea N°2
The House of Perception

The cinematic sister
Set higher on the mountain and with a significantly larger footprint, Etérea N°2 is a modernist Japanese design wrapped in red cedar. With glass on every side, the house opens onto a wider horizon. From bed, you can watch the light move through the house from morning to evening, as the valley turns gold and the mountain changes with it.
A Hinoki soaking tub sits in its own wooden enclave, while a custom-tiled turquoise pool sets a vivid note against the volcanic peaks. Expansive, cinematic and quietly indulgent, Etérea N°2 is a house that changes how you see the mountain.
What's at the house
120 sqm · 1 bedroom · 1 bath · sleeps 2
High-speed WiFi
Fast enough for video calls, remote work and streaming, with a dedicated workspace.
Equipped Kitchen
A two‑burner gas stove, a full‑sized fridge and freezer, a stovetop kettle and a French press, with pots, pans, knives and everything to set the table. The house also has a separate dining table.
Cooking Essentials
Tea, instant coffee, cooking oil, salt, pepper and drinking water are provided in the kitchen.
Solar-heated Pool
An outdoor dipping pool, not a jacuzzi. Solar‑heated, so the water is mild rather than hot. Open day and night, all year.
Shower Amenities
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, fresh towels and robes, plus instant gas‑heated hot water.
Dedicated House Manager
Selene meets you at the arrival pickup point, guides you up to the house and sees you off at checkout. In between, the house is yours, and she’s a WhatsApp away in English or Spanish.
Drinking Water
The tap water isn’t drinkable, but we provide plenty of potable water for drinking and cooking throughout your stay.
Free Parking
Park directly at the house; any standard car or SUV can handle the mountain road. Low‑clearance sports cars park free at Lavanda Spa, five minutes below, and Selene brings you the rest of the way in our company jeep.
Free Arrival & Departure Shuttle
The house isn’t on any map, so every guest is met at the arrival pickup point, guided up the mountain, and brought back down on departure day. The complimentary shuttle runs on check‑in and check‑out days only; during your stay, self‑drive or pre‑book a taxi.
20 minutes from a UNESCO city
Below the mountain lies San Miguel de Allende. Its cobbled streets and rooftop restaurants are close enough for dinner, yet far enough that, at Etérea, you would never know the city was there.
